Eduardo started as an open-water diver in 2004. He became a dive master in 2009, a CCR Advanced Mixed Gas in 2012, and a Full Cave Diver in 2012.
Eduardo holds the following service qualifications:
Service Technician for:
Apeks, Aqualung, Atomic, Beuchat, Cressi Sub, Dive Rite, Hollis, Mares, Oceanic, Poseidon, Scubapro, Sherwood, Sitech, Tecline, Tusa, Zeagle.
Certified Trainer for the following brands:
Atomic, Cressi, Hollis, Oceanic, Tecline, Zeagle
Certified cylinder inspector, holding certifications from ASSET (UK) and IDEST (UK) on:
- Equipment Service Technician.
- Nitrox and Gas Blender (including O2 service).
- Test and Inspection of cylinders and Inspection of aluminium cylinders with ultrasounds.
- Visual Inspection and O2 cleaning of cylinders (IDEST).
Certifications as:
- Advanced Gas Blending Instructor.
- O2 service technician Instructor.
- Equipment Specialist Instructor.
Professional
Eduardo is currently Managing Director of a Multinational company, splitting his working time between Portugal, the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands.
During his 28 years of experience, he completed projects in Portugal, Spain, the UK, France, Italy, the Czech Republic, Austria, Ukraine, Russia and Malaysia.
Apart from Eduardo’s engineering degree, he has an MBA in management, several post-graduations in Finance and Management and speaks 5 languages (Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, Italian).
